Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on all corporate, commercial, and project-related matters within the renewable energy sector.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including EPC, PPA, land acquisition agreements, joint ventures, and financing documents.
• Ensure company compliance with local and international laws, particularly in relation to energy regulations, environmental laws, and corporate governance.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and relevant government institutions as needed.
• Lead legal risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Support M&A, project development, and corporate structuring activities.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes that may impact business operations and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, dispute resolution, or arbitration if necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university; Master’s degree (LL.M) is a plus.
• Licensed and active member of PERADI (Indonesian Bar Association).
• Minimum 10–13 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in the energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Preferably with experience in EPC, renewable energy, or power plant industries.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian energy laws and renewable energy regulations.
• Proven experience in handling complex contract negotiations and project financing.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
