Senior PHP Developer

High Five is hiring on behalf of a beauty e-commerce startup based in Singapore that is looking for a committed WooCommerce Developer to support the growth of its online platform. The ideal candidate should possess strong coding skills in PHP, JavaScript, and CSS, along with hands-on experience in managing B2C retail operations. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity — not open to agencies or freelancers. The role is fully remote and suited for someone eager to grow with the company over time.

Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain our WooCommerce platform to meet the needs of our beauty ecommerce retail business.
Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, dev, and product development to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
Develop and implement new features, enhancements, and optimizations to improve the performance and the best user experience of our online store.
Monitor website performance, security, and uptime, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, providing timely solutions to minimize disruptions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce and web development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• At least 2+ years of B2C eCommerce In-house operation experience (not agency)
• Have Dev ops experience and capabilities
• 5+ years of experience as a WooCommerce Developer or similar role.
• Strong hard coding skills in PHP, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Keen attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English
